Most car owners don’t think about their car’s seat belts much – at least not until they stop functioning properly. It’s a well-known fact that a safety belt can save your life in an accident. However, after a crash, or just due to time and normal wear, your belts may become damaged and require repair or replacement.

If you have vehicle safety belts that are locked, won’t retract, have been chewed by the family dog, or have a blown tensioner, the certified technicians at Secure Repair are here to help.

Repair and/or Refurbishment Services
There is no need to pay a dealer or local mechanic hundreds of dollars and wait days to get your car back. With our 100% satisfaction-guaranteed belt, buckle, and tensioner repair service, your worn or damaged belts will be restored to factory condition in only 24 hours and at a fraction of dealership seat belt repair cost.

Our trained repair techs use only OEM parts to refurbish your belts to their original factory condition. With the Secure Repair seat belt repair service, your belts will meet or exceed OEM specifications and will function like new. Go ahead and drive or sell that vehicle! You can rest assured that your repair is of the highest quality and meets our stringent safety standards.

Are your belts locked following an accident? In a crash, a car seat belt equipped with a gas charge deploys and the belt locks. This pulls the occupant back against the seat, thus reducing the impact of the rapid inflation of the airbag. Once the gas charge is deployed, however, the belt will no longer function properly. This can cause your airbag light to come on, indicating a faulty tensioner with an open circuit or resistance-too-high or resistance-too-low SRS code.

Unlike some other seat belt repair after accident services, we never use resistors to trick your car into thinking the problem is fixed; our repairs are the real deal. Contrary to what you may have been told, airbags cannot be repaired and we do not work with airbags. See your local authorized dealership if you are in need of a replacement for a deployed airbag.

Need to reset your SRS airbag module? Crash data and hard codes stored in the airbag computer can be cleared and/or removed with our separate service, the $49.99 SRS Airbag Module Reset .

Webbing Replacement
Accidents are not the only reason a car owner might need safety belt repair or replacement. Safety Restore is not only the leader in post-accident restorations, we also offer top-of-the-line webbing replacement. Whether your belts needs new webbing due to wear, or if you just want something new and different, our technicians are here to handle all your seat belt webbing replacement needs.

If you are planning to sell a restored or rebuilt vehicle, even a salvage vehicle, a vehicle safety inspection will be required prior to the sale. Your vehicle cannot be given a pass on the inspection unless the safety belts have been adequately repaired. Just send us your parts and we’ll replace the webbing with the perfect color using our color-match technology, clean the mechanism, and send your like-new belt unit in 24 hours. We’ll even restitch the manufacturer’s original tags and stitching pattern!

If the family dog has been using your lap or shoulder belt as a chew toy, we can even help with that. Once you’ve chosen your service, made your payment online, and mailed us your parts, we’ll get to work to match the webbing color, repair the unit to OEM specifications, and send it back in 24 hours.

Are you just plain tired of looking at your old belts? Spice things up a bit with a splash of color! We offer a variety of colored webbing to bring new life to your car. Your interior upgrade comes with a Lifetime Guarantee on our OEM-level refurbishing and includes the original manufacturer tags, the original stitching pattern, and a 24-hour turnaround.

Even if the webbing is simply damaged or dirty, our seat belt webbing repair service is the perfect choice. Just follow the same steps for ordering and sending us your parts, and we’ll send you a like-new unit you’ll be proud and happy to show off in your car, truck, or SUV.

How the Process Works
The Safety Restore repair process starts with you. Using our easy-to-follow instructions, you’ll get a step-by-step guide for removing the faulty belt or belts from your vehicle. Once the units have been removed, you will then have to determine the type of unit you have.

Single-Stage Unit
A single-stage unit has one gas charge. There will be one wire plug or connector coming out of the unit.

Double-Stage Unit
A dual stage seat belt repair involves replacement of two gas charges. Two wire plugs or connectors will be present, or there may be two separate pieces.

Triple-Stage Unit
As the name implies, a triple-stage unit has three gas charges and, thus, three connectors or wire plugs should be identified. Typically, two of the gas charges can be located on the tensioner reel and the third can be found on the anchor pre-tensioner.

Once you know which part you have, select your repair level based on the type of belt assembly and the service you require. For example, if you have dual-stage units and want to change webbing colors, simply choose your repair options. We make it easy to select and pay for your service online. Paying online also makes it easy to track your order all the way through the process.

After your online order is complete, you will package and mail your parts to us:
